Kai Mai with camera gear in the Khumbu, Nepal

About

I left a conventional path after Wharton and spent four months on the ground in Nepal — not as a tourist, but learning the rhythm of the mountains and the people who live in their shadow. That season led to summiting Mera Peak at 6,476m, producing a documentary on the mad honey hunters of the Gurung hills, and building direct relationships with operators across Nepal and Bhutan. I shoot to understand places that demand patience, and I edit to keep the frame honest.
